I have been running off and on for the past 3 years, trying to build up my running time and length.
Short-Term Running Goals:
I am new to the community and trying to transition to the fast California life and with that getting in better shape and change my diet, and just making one short term goal after another!
Long-Term Running Goals:
To not give up and finally accomplish something! My long term goal right now is to focus on the SFMarathon, and also to land a job in the next couple months.
Personal:
I am newly relocated to the Bay Area in California, and am excited to start this new chapter in my and my husbands life. We hail from the heart of America, Oklahoma. I am also a member of the California National Guard, and love serving my country during this time.

Ran 2 miles today, in 20 minutes. Not a good time for me. I usually run a 8:45 mile. But I forget I am training for a marathon, and will be happy with 10 min mile. Or at least a respectable pace time!!
Started my running regime after so long of not running, I ran for at least 20 minutes and can only guesstimate that I ran 2 or less miles. Will be posting more and running more in the coming months.
